diesel generator oil go? Part of it runs into the combustion chamber due to "oil leakage" and is burned or forms carbon deposits, while the other part leaks from the poorly sealed parts.
The generator oil generally enters the combustion chamber through the gap between the piston ring and the ring groove, and the gap between the valve and the guide tube. The direct reason for its leakage is that a piston ring drops sharply near the top dead center, and the lubricating oil attached to it is thrown into the combustion chamber. Therefore, the matching clearance between the piston ring and the piston, the amount and ability of the piston ring to scrape oil, the pressure in the combustion chamber and the oil viscosity are closely related to the oil consumption.
In terms of operating conditions, the oil viscosity used is too low, the engine speed and water temperature are too high, the cylinder liner deformation exceeds the limit, the number of starts and stops is frequent, the engine parts are worn too much, the oil level is too high, etc. will increase the oil consumption.
Piston deviation caused by connecting rod bending and body shaping tolerance not meeting the requirements (the mark is the wear marks of cylinder liner and piston on the piston ring land on one side and piston skirt on the other side along the axis of the piston pin hole) is also an important reason for the increase of engine oil consumption.
The use of twisted rings and combined oil rings has a significant effect on reducing engine oil consumption, especially the combined oil ring is light in weight, the three-piece structure has no oil pumping effect, is flexible in itself, has good adaptability to the cylinder wall, and the expansion ring makes the side of the oil ring close to the ring groove.
